The health benefits of Nectarines

Discover what makes these juicy, vitamin- and mineral-rich stone fruits so good for you, how many count as one of your five-a-day and healthy recipe ideas. What is a nectarine? Nectarines are a round, yellow-red stone fruit that are about the size of an apple. They have a smooth, firm skin on the outside and a white-yellow flesh inside – both of which are edible –and in the center, a hard stone or kernel, which is inedible. Nectarines are related to peaches, but don't have the same fuzzy skin. Nutritional profile of nectarines Nectarines contain around 85 per cent water per 100g, so they provide a lot of hydration. A 100g serving also provides 43 calories, around 10g of carbohydrates (of which all is sugar, as it's a fruit), 1g protein, negligible fat and about 1g fiber. Nectarines have a good nutritional profile, containing lots of vitamins and minerals, including beta-carotene, which gives them their yellow-red color. The body can turn beta-carotene into vitami

Flat White

Flat White Method: Make around 35ml espresso using your coffee machine and pour into the base of your cup. Steam the milk with the steamer attachment so that it has around 1-2cm of foam on top. Hold the jug so that the spout is about 3-4cm above the cup and pour the milk in steadily. As the volume within the cup increases, bring the jug as close to the surface of the drink as possible whilst aiming to pour into the centre. Once the milk jug is almost touching the surface of the coffee, tilt the jug to speed up the rate of pour. As you accelerate, the milk will hit the back of the cup and start naturally folding in on itself to create a pattern on the top.

Kala Channa

Kala Channa Kala Channa, a dish packed full of fibre & protein and it’s one of your five a day! It’s also a very cheap dish to make and it can serve a family of 4-5 people.  I tend to use tinned chick peas just because it’s quicker to cook and great if you forgot to soak the chick peas the night before. I like to serve this dish with hot chapattis and with a cucumber and onion salad. But it also pairs well with boiled basmati rice.  What you need: 2 large onions thinly sliced 5 cloves garlic  1/2 inch ginger 1 green chilli 4 tomatoes 1/2 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste) 1/2 tbsp cumin powder 1/2 tbsp coriander powder chopped coriander for garnishing 1/2 – 1 tsp garam masala 1/4 cup oil Thanks for join us :)

Mix all the ingredients together. Make a kabab of desire shape. I made circular kababs. In a pan, add 1.5 tbsp of oil to fry the kabab. Initially place kabab on high heat and after a minute turn the heat to low so it perfectly fries with a crispy texture. Take out kabab on kitchen pepper to absorb excess oil. Serve it with green chutney or ketchup.
